Joyce and David | Engagement Session at South Pointe Beach Miami, Florida
Take me to South Pointe Beach, Miami Florida any day, and I’m a happy lady. Take me there for a photoshoot at the golden hour of sunset, and you will see me doing my happy dance!
Today’s engagement shoot is with Joyce and David. These guys met at a wedding back in 2011 when she was 17, and he was 21, and he had just gotten out of military training. He asked for her number and a cheeky selfie with her. 6 years later, when he came back from deployment and the rest, as they say, is history. How cute is it that he kept their first picture from that wedding years ago?
On September 4th, 2020, when they finally got to go out during the pandemic, he popped the question while they dined outside at a lovely Italian restaurant in Ventnor, NJ, right next to the beach. This fun and easy-going couple love to travel, go to the gym together, and eat Korean bbq! And, of course, hang out with their gorgeous Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Charlie.
And that brings us up to today and why I get to hang out with these guys and take fabulous photos in this amazing golden light. These two are super cute and made my job so easy. They laughed, they smiled (non-stop), and they danced. And using the stunning backdrop of South Pointe Beach, I got to be there to document this beautiful chapter in their love story.
