Surrounded by the stunning grounds of the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, I got to photograph
newly engaged Sadaf and Pouya. The weather was perfect. The couple was fabulous. And this photographer had such a fantastic day with them both. Firstly, a little bit to get to know the happy couple. Just like a story in the movies, Pouya and Sadaf met through their siblings. Sadaf’s older sister is, in fact, married to Pouya’s twin brother three years ago. They knew each other for 3 whole years before they started dating. Can you believe it? How cute is that! It was meant to be. Pouya proposed at her parent's house, in front of all their immediate family. It must have been such a magical day!
And that brings us to today's beautiful engagement shoot. Our location is a beautiful place
where the landscape and architecture are influenced by Veneto and Tuscan Italian Renaissance
and Mediterranean architecture. So to say this is a dream location is an understatement.
It’s like being transported to Italy. As we go through the shoot, we always talk. I asked them to tell me about each other. Sadaf says that Pouya is caring, hardworking, adventurous, ambitious, and has a strong sense of humor. And, Pouya says that Sadaf is organized, goal-oriented, persistent, very caring, and very kind.

They love to dine out at romantic restaurants with a view and share a drink and the occasional cigar together. As you can see from the photos, these two are a match made in heaven. In the beautiful grounds of the Vizcaya, we captured so many stunning photos. They are so relaxed and easy to photograph. It was a dream engagement shoot. The light, the architecture, the landscapes, and most importantly, the couple were all just divine. Congratulations, Pouya and Sadaf, on your beautiful engagement!
