Wedding at Ocean Reef Club | Katherine + Robert

An island wedding at Ocean Reef Club can be truly magical. The lush tropical setting is the venue for today's lovely couple Katherine & Robert. These two met in college when they were both playing lacrosse and they have been best friends since Katherine’s freshman year at Amherst College.

Rob proposed this summer in a field near Katherines parents Martha’s Vineyard house in Edgartown,Massachusetts. After they celebrated with both families as they all went out sailing! And that brings us to today.

This day was filled with love, laughter, tears (happy ones of course) and so much fun. Katherine and her parents are very close and even I have to admit getting a little teary when her father saw her in her dress for the first time.

The couple’s first look was filled with just as much emotion and for the full stunning effect, we did the first look on the island jetty. You will have to agree these two are totally adorable and we got to capture every moment and emotion.

I asked them both to describe each other in five words and here is what each said. Katie said Robert is laid back, active, caring, curious, and brave and Robert said Katie is caring, energetic, silly, smart, brave.

Katherine and Robert said their vows in the beautiful St Justin Martyr Catholic Church in the presence of their closest family and friends. From the first look to the first dance, you can tell these two have so much fun together and are just smitten. 

It was a true joy to be part of Robert & Katherine’s special day. Wishing you all the love, laughter, and adventure as you continue your life together, now, as husband and wife.
