Maria and Joel | Engagement Session at South Pointe Beach

Today we are back at one of my favorite locations to shoot, South Pointe Beach …

Joel and Maria met through a get-together at a mutual friend's house. Maria wasn't sure about giving him her number, so they didn't see each other again until they was set up on Christmas Day for dinner at a friend's house, and that's where it all began

Joel proposed during a Holiday Photoshoot and Maria was taken completely by surprise. He had been trying to get Maria to book a shoot for 2 years, knowing this was how he planned to propose. And when he pretended to go get their pup for a photo Maria turned around to see him on one knee and she was in shock and of course said yes. It was the best day ever! 

Maria says of her love, I don’t have just one favorite thing! I love how detailed he is, how much he loves to make me happy & to support me in all my crazy ideas/dreams. Let’s not forget how amazing he is with my family & with kids! He is simple, hard-working, humble, transparent, calm, and easygoing.

Joel describes his favorite thing about his bride to be saying how affectionate she is. He loves to see her full of happiness. She is friendly, empathetic, a little funny, a little complicated but fun, and outgoing.

I think you will agree that these two are just perfect for each other. And check out the sparks in these photos. We had so much fun at the beach for their engagement shoot. We walked along the water and in through the sand, and every shot was just perfect.
