Wedding at Chapel 4 | Lillian + Owen
On this lovely June evening, we find ourselves at Chapel 4 in Florida for the wedding of Lillian and Owen. Chapel 4 is a non-denominational church venue designed to resemble the simple country churches of the time built during World War II in the heart of Marina District in Downtown Delray Beach. When walking up to the church, it has the cutest pink doors.
Once inside you are immediately drawn to the wonderful palm tree wall mural, 25-foot beamed ceiling, and amazing natural lighting. Chapel 4 has that historic charm that makes it the perfect venue for Lillian and Owen’s Slim Aarons, 60s/70s Palm Beach style wedding.
One of my favorite things about being a Miami wedding photographer is seeing how couples add their own unique style to historic and staple venues in Florida. Lillian and Owen had gorgeous tropical palm beach style floral arrangements around the venue. Their table settings had one of the most creative displays with photos of their childhood matching the table number. Just look at how adorable four year old Lillian and Owen look!
The iconic pink doors and historic grounds of Chapel 4 made a great scenery for bridal portraits. Lillian was so much fun to capture in these moments. It was all old Florida vibes full of unique and historic charm.
Part of the vibe Lillian and Owen were going for was Slim Aarons. Their bride and groom portraits were very much that! The glamor and charisma of celebrity were radiating from these two. Owen’s shades and Lillian's pearls are great touches to completing the Slim Aarons-esque moment. They were really having so much fun during the process!
Lillian and Owen meet at the altar to finally say “I do”! They have the most dapper ring bearer and chic flower girl. Aren’t they just adorable? Lillian and Owen say their vows and begin their lives together as newlyweds in front of their closest loved ones. They have a fun first dance and neither of them can stop smiling. The live music continues getting everyone on to the dance floor for a night of celebration. Towards the end of the night the newlyweds make their exit. Congratulations Lillian and Owen! It truly will be a memorable night that I am grateful to be a part of.
