“Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.” I always say when your comfortable, it makes for really great photographs. So what better place to feel comfortable and get crazy amazing engagement photos than to have your engagement photoshoot in your home. That's what Gaby and Michael decided to do and you are in for a treat. These guys are beyond cute and their little french bulldog, (name), almost stole the show with his adorable Christmas jumper. Gaby and Kevin met at her sister's wedding and romance blossomed from there. Gabriela says about the proposal "This year, we went for a road trip through Arizona. We made a pit stop in Scottsdale, where Michael requested we climb Camelback mountain again. When we got a nice landing, we sat to watch the sunset. He told me he wanted to spend his life with me, read me a letter he had written to my mom , and then proposed. It was so beautiful.” “She is the love of my life” says Michael. These guys were so much fun to shoot. So relaxed, so fun and so ridiculously smitten with each other. Check out the photos and see for yourself how absolutely crazy cute these guys are. As it was coming up to Christmas we went for a cozy theme shoot. Guest starring their other family member, their gorgeous dog. This soon to be Mr and Mrs are so relaxed and so in love and we really had so much fun at the shoot. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, really showing their personalities with a little silliness included and it made for amazing photos. Check out the photographs to see for yourself.
That particular moment in which virtually every person wish to experience, that point when your fiancé gets ready to settle down and takes you to the altar. In this case, Erica and James did it! They made it together after several romantic experiences which they have had. In this case, James took the bold step in planning a surprise proposal to Erica in London.
James proposed to Erica in London at the Shakespeare theatre and there was a photographer hiding in the midst capturing those priceless moments when James asked Erica for her hand in marriage. Erica & James wanted to do their engagement pictures at Wynwood, FL because this is precisely the place where they had their 1st date; isn’t that so sweet? Where they both shared their life experiences and created a bond that attracted them to one another. And like how the old saying goes "The rest is history!"
Erica stated that she loves James because he is optimistic, kind-hearted, generous, honest, dedicated, and logical. She also explained that out of all of James’s abilities, her favorite is James ability always to see the positive in every situation “He helps me laugh and forgive when times are difficult and keeps me positive. He brings joy and balance wherever he goes.” She said.
The location which they had used happened to have a creative and delightful setting, and definitely, that was all that you'd need in the ideal background for a paramount engagement session. Erica and James were beautifully dressed; with James looking GQ in his causal outfit and Erica looking sexy and sensational.
It was a sweet experience as the camera lights went on and pictures were taken. James and Erica’s relationship would be a blissful one. We wish them the best! I can't wait for November when they say "I DO"

*singing* It’s the final countdown… to my preview of Gloria and German’s recent engagement session! And in case you couldn’t tell from the pictures I’m about to show you, these two lovebirds are ALL about Soccer and Rustic. Can you guess how they spend their Saturday nights in the soccer season? That’s right – tailgating, chowing down on soccer themed finger foods with friends, and cheering for their favorite soccer teams. Naturally, she wore a soccer jersey and a rustic outfit to fit their wedding theme, he wore the same outfits and we headed to Amelia Earhart Park - Miami-Dade County in FL.
I asked Gloria how she met German and your going to laugh and say awww! Gloria said, “Every Monday we would play soccer with a group of friends at a local park. We met through soccer and hated each other at first but after we got to know each other, we fell in love.”
The big day is right around the corner and I think I might have a couple good gift ideas for anyone who’s shopping for these two. A pair of tickets to their favorite soccer games? A signed jersey they can frame and hang in the house? A gift card to a local sports bar? or a sport themed dish towels? I’m too good at this…
Good luck on the big day, you two! I know it’ll be a blast for you and your guests!
Welcome to Pauline & Brain Engagement Session!
Pauline & Brain met at a charity event for United Way. They were both immediately drawn to each other! And you will see that love throughout their engagement pictures! One of my favorite sessions Pauline & Brain were such an outgoing couple, filled with love, joy and laughter! One of their favorite thing to do as a couple they love going to the beach so of course when they told me that they wanted their engagement session at the beach!
They didn't have to ask me twice to head to Coral Cove Park (Tequesta) my happy place for an engagement shoot! That’s where I photographed Pauline and Brian, and it was an absolute dream session in every way. We headed to the shore at around 6:00 pm just when the sun was setting, which made the light especially golden, soft, rich, and the ocean waters a deep blue color.
I have no doubts that it’s going to be a beautiful day full of sunshine, love and joy on their wedding day!
Without further ado I introduce you to Pauline & Brain Engagement Session!
Hello friends, meet Patricia & Kevin, when I first met them at our photography consultation I knew at that very moment we were a good fit! I asked them a series of question but my favorite question I love to ask my couples is how they met... it never fails when a couple talks about their love story there is always a twinkle in their eyes and a huge grin from ear to ear. So here is Patricia & Kevin love story; They met through a co-worker at Kevin's job. The co-worker happened to be her best friends sister. She sent her a message asking if she wanted to meet someone and sent her his number. They went on their first date and you know how the saying goes " The rest is history" I remember Patricia telling me "We both truly believe God sent us to each other. We were both single a very long time... Praying for our soulmate. When we met and got to know each other we both knew we were blessed to find one another. He's everything she needed and she's everything he needed. Real Love is truly is all in God's time."
NOPE – elopements aren’t just things that happen in a Hollywood movie. Proof: Karem & Logan’s spontaneous nuptials at the Curtiss Mansion. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day!
Many congratulations to the happy couple, and may your life continue to be full of happy surprises and spontaneous fun!
You don’t have to ask me twice to head to the airport called Signature Flight Support PBI and the beach my happy places for an engagement shoot! That’s where I photographed Jennyfer and Jose, and it was an absolute dream session in every way. Jennyfer & Jose wore matching outfits that said Mr. & Mrs. and used a vintage letter J marquee because they are known as the “J’s” their 2nd outfit change Jennifer wore the most beautiful flowing floral printed dress that she look absolutely incredible in, and Jose looked so handsome in his suit which blended into the scenery perfectly!
They also wanted to do sunset pictures so we headed to the shore at around 5:00 pm just when the sun was setting which made the light especially golden, soft and rich, and the Coral Cove Park waters a deep blue rich turquoise that appears shimmery
I love hearing couples love story! So when I first met them over a cup of coffee at Starbucks they shared with me how they met and it went a little something like this…
Our love story began on August, 2016 when we, fortunately, encountered our profiles on an online dating site... yes, we did!!!. After exchanging few texts, we agreed to meet in person... literally three (3) days after the first text. We met after work at The Pub. Jose was sitting at the bar, waiting... (could you guess which J was pretty anxious?) then I arrived, and we really felt at ease after our introduction. At some point, early in the conversation, we said: "I am from Venezuela, and I am from Puerto Rico"... from that moment, we knew that we would get along like "Arepa con Bacalao" (a Puerto Rican song that fuses two (2) distinctive dishes from our countries "Borinquezolano style") Time flew that night, we were talking & laughing for hours, the chemistry was definitely there between us. Then, the time to say goodbye came, it was there when I knew, and He knew that we needed to see each other again very soon... and the rest, as they say, (no matter how cheesy it is) is history!!
Every time I read their love story it put’s a smile on my face. For they're wedding day in October these two lovebirds are heading to St. Raymond Church for their ceremony and then La Jolla Ballroom for the reception. I have no doubts that it’s going to be a beautiful day full of sunshine, love and joy!
In my 5 years as a photographer, I’ve been extremely lucky to get to work with all kinds of amazing human beings. As you’d expect, every couple is different from the next. Some are all about the PDA, some are all about keeping it sweet and romantic, and some people… well, some people are just downright hysterical! Meet Cassidy and William, two of the goofiest & madly in love couple I’ve worked with in a really long time. The session took place at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, FL, which was a great backdrop for our the two of hours together.
The entire time these two were cracking jokes and being playful, and I was there to catch it all on camera. I thought it was particularly funny when I told William to pose and he did the prom pose with Cassidy. Ha!
I asked Cassidy & William to share their love story with me and this is what they said…
We originally met in high school, but we’re both dating other people. We reconnected again, the first time, through social media, Instagram. It was pretty much a fairytale and I think we both figured it was too good to be true. We however THANKFULLY reconnected again through Instagram and have been inseparable ever since. This past August we traveled to Germany, Northern Ireland and France. My first time outside the US ! He proposed at the Giant’s Causeway, in Northern Ireland, which is amazingly beautiful and forever will be one of my favorite places in the world.
These two are officially tying the knot on October 18, 2018 at Secret Gardens of Miami, its is going to be a very beautiful and unique wedding because the theme is Harry Potter! I can not wait to capture their love story. So wish them lots of luck! But really, with a relationship as lighthearted and fun as this one, I don’t think they’ll need any luck at all!
P.S. There engagement session was also feature on Voyage MIA Magazine
