Wedding at the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens | Gauri + Scott

An island venue wedding is not only romantic, but exquisite! The Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway spanning 35 acres of beautiful greenery. The venue is glowing with old-world charm! A wedding at the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens gives you exclusive access to the tree lined fountain, garden courtyard, waterfront veranda, hibiscus garden, and beach that will leave timeless memories. I know for our couple, Gauri and Scott, this day is an unforgettable one!

Gauri and Scott wanted their wedding to be a celebration with close friends and family. For the main vibe to be fun and laid back. A wedding at the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is truly a hidden gem! It’s secluded from the city noise and surrounded by the beautiful greenery. This gave everyone the ability to celebrate Gauri and Scott’s wedding with fun and laughter..

the bride's wedding henna tattoo on her hand is pictured open palm. you can see the intricate detail and the bouquet being held in her other hand.

Gauri has some of the most gorgeous bridal photos everrrr. She was having so much fun. It was so great to form a genuine connection with her and enjoy these moments. We really wanted to highlight her henna tattoos because they are meant to provide good health, joy, and luck in her marriage. She was so excited to take these portraits, so was I!

Talk about a great first look! You can just see the anticipation in both Gauri and Scott’s faces. Scott’s reaction is one for the books. It was so full of love and excitement. I mean just look at the lean back. He needed a moment to take in all the beauty of his bride!

the bride and groom share their first kiss together as newlyweds. they are both wearing their ceremonial garlands with red and white flowers.

Gauri and Scott had a gorgeous ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends at the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. They included a special garlands moment for their ceremony where they exchanged garlands and took seven steps together. Their idea behind this was with each step they take, they will be moving flowers together with their right foot. Gauri and Scott said their “I do”’s after the garland portion. Their guests showered them with flower petals as they exited.

The entire wedding day from beginning to end was just spectacular! Gauri and Scott's wedding at the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens was a night full of love, laughter, and amazing dance moves. I feel so grateful to be able to capture their entire special day! I want to wish you both, Gauri and Scott, the best life has to offer and the best adventures out there in the next chapter of your lives together.
