Diana and Patrick’s Story

Patrick and Diana's love story began at a mutual friend's party in Greenville, SC. Despite the distance between them with Patrick living in Atlanta at the time, they quickly formed a deep connection through hours of daily conversations over FaceTime. Their first date turned into an unexpected adventure when they got snowed in at Diana's apartment. This led to their favorite date…an amazing hole in the wall Napoletano pizza place! Actually, they continue to go there so many times after that.

While overlooking a picturesque lake during a beautiful sunset, Patrick proposed at Diana's grandparent's home in Miami Lakes. Patrick delivered a heartfelt speech before getting down on one knee, and Diana joyfully said “YES!”.

A fun fact about their relationship is that they first met on the phone two years prior to meeting in person. That’s fate if I’ve ever seen it! Also, their personalities complement each other so well. With Patrick being an extrovert disguised as an introvert and Diana an introvert disguised as an extrovert, they form a dynamic duo! I am so honored to be a part of their journey in becoming husband and wife.

Getting Ready for The Thalatta Estate Wedding

So the big day has arrived!! Diana and Patrick couldn’t hide their excitement as they prepared for their Thalatta Estate wedding!

Diana got ready with her bridesmaids for a morning of prepping and poppin champagne. The bubbles were bubbling and the room was filled with laughter. Meanwhile, Patrick got his groomsmen together for a toast of their own with shots! Needless to say, Diana and Patrick with their crew know exactly how to get hype for the big day.

As the bride and groom got ready separately, there's an energy in the air as they prepared to privately exchange their vows! From the laughter-filled rooms to the quiet moments of reflection, this is the start of an unforgettable journey for Diana and Patrick’s Thalatta Estate wedding day.

I was able to steal them away for a moment to capture their bridal and groom portraits. I mean, both Diana and Patrick look straight out of a magazine!

The Thalatta Estate Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Above all the cheers and tears of joy, Diana and Patrick stood before their loved ones to say: "I do." With just one kiss they began their own new chapter as husband and wife! After their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Church of the Little Flower, they headed back to the estate.

At their Thalatta Estate wedding, they made a grand entrance down the staircase into the reception area. Every last detail was stunning matching their wedding colors of ivory, gold, and forest green. My favorite detail was the tables being marked by national parks they’ve hiked together!! As the sun began to set, Diana and Patrick had a first dance to kick off their reception! After, the guests danced to the beat of the music, indulged in yummy treats, and sipped signature cocktails.

Overall, smiles and laughter filled the Thalatta Estate wedding day! The energy was so contagious and the newlyweds were swept up with joy by dancing the night away. This Thalatta Estate wedding was an extraordinary blend of love, laughter, and endless memories–a true reflection of Diana and Patrick’s joyous union. At the end of the night, we gathered up everyone for amazing group photos.
