Gabrielle and Dillon | Engagement Session at South Pointe Beach

This is definitely my favorite location to shoot engagement sessions. I just love South Pointe Beach. 

Gabrielle and Dillons, love story in FIU where they were both out-of-state students. Finding it hard to make friends at first they connected when his sister and Gabrielle's old roommate were new roommates. They hung out and went to parties but it took a long time for them to catch each other's eye. After hanging out in groups for some time Dillon asked her to tutor him in Chemistry because he was "struggling". Dillon did not need help with Chemistry class lol. They started hanging out on their own here and there but because they are both shy, it took them a solid TWO years to officially become boyfriend and girlfriend and we've been best friends ever since! They spent the first year of their relationship long-distance, her at home in The Bahamas, and Dillon starting his Master's Degree. Ever since then though, they have lived together and grown up together! 

After his original plan failed, due to a mix-up with ferry times and reservations, Dillon proposed on the pier at Mallory Square, where Gabby's mom was able to snap a great candid of the proposal showing Gabby's surprise. She of course said yes and that brings us up today and why we are here on the beautiful South Pointe Beach for their engagement shoot… Also features Sammy the Goldendoodle and you know how much I love when couples bring their fur babies to shoots. 

You can see by the photos that Dillon and Gabrielle are just perfect for each other and so smitten. We had so much fun, and as they say, the proof is in the pictures. Congratulations, Dillon and Gabrielle!
