Erika & Marlin Engagement Session at Wynwood Art District

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”
A. A. Milne

Today’s shoot comes to you from the very trendy Wynwood Arts district. I really love how this place has come alive! In a matter of years, this former industrial area, home to warehouses and auto shops now boasts the hottest galleries, trendiest bars and best restaurants in Miami. This combination leads to a very exciting backdrop for my engagement shoot today with Erica and Marlin.

This pair met in Flannigans, on a night out with some friends. When they were introduced they came to find out they grew up in the same area, knew the same ppl, went to the same parties and hung out at a bunch of the same places but never ever met or even bumped into each other! How funny! Once they got chatting, they rest is history. Marlin popped the question in the Cave of Winds in Colorado and here we are today. We couldn’t have asked for better lighting for the shoot! Even with Miami's great weather, it can be tricky to get just the right shooting conditions. We all had so much fun! Gorgeous couple, amazingly cool graffiti backdrops and did you guys see that car! I just love these guys chemistry Marlin says that Erica is strong, beautiful, caring, wise and determined. And Erica says that her Marlin is strong, thoughtful, provider, smart and kind. As you can see from the photos there was lots of great moments captured, lots of love and laughter throughout.

Thank you Erica and Marlin for asking me to document this part of you're amazing love story, I am truly honored.
