Bret & Ryan Wedding at The Living Sculpture Sanctuary
“The day has come. We're free to love!” LP
From there adorable first look to the amazing party, I was so delighted to be a part of their special day. Today’s wedding takes me back to one of my favorite venues to shoot a wedding! The Living Sculpture Sanctuary is a hidden gem, a retreat from the hustle of South Florida. It is a stunning place with gentle water falls, bonsai and koi ponds that emerge from its lush setting in centuries old live oak trees. The venue’s enchanting energy is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. And it really is a photographer’s dream!
The theme of Bret & Ryan’s ceremony came from one of their favorite songs called "Free to Love" by LP. LP is one of their favorite artists and that song is very special to them so they decided to make it the theme of their day. So their colors were dusty blue, grey, olive, ivory and gold as an accent. I really enjoyed shooting all the sparkling details for this wedding. Bret and Ryan, wrote their own vows and said them in front of their closest friends and family! A beautiful ceremony full of love, laughter and happy tears! The boys looked amazing in their Indochino suits! Each of them having their own unique accessories special to them. Ryan with his star wars cufflinks and Bret with his rainbow ones. Even their dog Alfie, had his own suit that matched the rest of the wedding party, complete with a matching bow tie. They also had Alfie in the ceremony as the ring bearer. So adorable! (I love it when couples have their pets involved on their special day!).
The reception and dancing looked so much fun. And after a delicious cutting of the cake I left the newlyweds to enjoy the rest of their day dancing with their friends and family. Bret and Ryan I wish you all the love and happiness as you start your married life together. I am truly honoured you chose me to document your love story. Thank you!
