Jessica & Mitchell Wedding at The Living Sculpture Sanctuary
Todays wedding finds me back at one of my favorite photoshoot locations, The Living Sculpture Sanctuary. It really is a hidden gem, a retreat from the hustle of South Florida. It is a stunning place with gentle water falls, bonsai and koi ponds that emerge from its lush setting in centuries old live oak trees. A photographers dream! Jessica and Mitchell met on a night out bowling with mutual friends, they hit it off straight away. After about two months they were officially dating! The proposal was one to remember. After an Aprils fool proposal joke, he then said he actually did have a surprise and asked her to close her eyes. This time when she opened them, he was on one knee with a beautiful ring and popped the question. And yes he was serious this time!
What Jessica adores about her now husband is that he is hilarious, supportive, charismatic, family oriented, and caring. And Mitchell says of her gorgeous wife that she is beautiful, intelligent, caring, funny, and quirky. They really are a match made in heaven. I knew when I shot their engagement shoot earlier this year, they're wedding was going to be a dream to shoot. These guys are always smiling, laughing and goofing around. With so many amazing locations within the Sanctuary, the first look was just stunning. It was so emotional for both of them and I captured every single moment. Surrounded by their most treasured family and friends, Mitchell and Jessica said their I do’s. We took some beautiful portraits underneath the floral arches, one of my favourite locations within the Sanctuary. Their day was beautiful from start to finish and it was my pleasure to be there to document every smile, every tear (happy tears of course) and lots of laughter.
Jessica and Mitchell, thank you for choosing me to be part of your special day, it has truly been an honor. Wishing you all the love and happiness as you continue your life together, now as husband and wife.
