“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.” Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets. Erica and James promised each other Forever in front of their closest family and friends. And I was the lucky photographer that they chose to be part of their very special day. From Erica’s Star Wars shoes (yes you read that right, see the photos) to James Darth Vader cufflinks it was clear that this was going to be a fun day to photograph. James took the bold step in planning a surprise proposal to Erica in London. He proposed to her in London at the Shakespeare theatre. Erica loves James because he is optimistic, kind-hearted, generous, honest, dedicated, and logical. She also explained that out of all of James’s abilities, her favorite is James ability always to see the positive in every situation “He helps me laugh and forgive when times are difficult and keeps me positive. He brings joy and balance wherever he goes.” She said. The father of the bride had a dual role in todays wedding at the beautiful St. Agatha Catholic Church in Miami, FL. Not only did her escort his beautiful daughter down the aisle, he was the priest who married them on the day. A very emotional and proud day for him in so many ways. Erica was extremely close to her grandparents and had hoped they would see her married. But sadly they both passed away recently. Erica made sure they had a presence on the day and had with her a beautiful necklace given to her by her grandmother. Erica and James, this was a beautiful day and I thank you for asking me to be part of your special day. I wish nothing but the best for you both as you begin your life as husband and wife.
Choumate & Berthony met on Christmas Eve 14 years . Berthony says that as soon as he heard the name Choumate, he knew she would be his wife. Choumate said he was so shy at first and she knew his soul was pure. They were best friends for two years before they started dating and even though it's been 14 years, they still say that everyday is like the first day. He proposed on December 31 one minute before midnight, and asked her to promise him that they will see a lifetime together. He actually proposed after having a late snack at Denny’s!! And with that I knew this wedding was going to be a dream to capture. There was lots of hustle and bustle when I arrived to the bride and her ladies. Berthony and his guys were very relaxed.
From the first look, this couple never stopped smiling the entire day. Watching and documenting this kind of love and happiness is why I do what I do. They said their I do’s in a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by their dearest friends and family. The beautiful fairy lights in the trees at the venue made the moments throughout the service truly beautiful to photograph. Berthony and Choumate know how to make entrance and they definitely know how to make an exit. After the dancing was done, they left the reception through a tunnel of sparkler holding friends and family. The black and white theme was brought all the way through to the reception decor and the most stunning jet black cake I loved photography all of the gorgeous details they had painstakingly picked out for their special day.
Congratulations Choumate and Berthony, thank you for asking me to be part of your amazing day. I wish nothing but the best for you both as you begin your life as husband and wife.
Lorelei & James were in downtown Miami for an LCD Soundsystem concert, on a perfect October night, As they walked to the venue, he stopped, told her how much he loved her, got down on one knee, and proposed. It was incredibly sweet and he nailed it with her stunning sapphire engagement ring! Of course she said yes. James and Lorelei met on a dating app and it turned into a lifelong love!. They bonded over many things and one of those was a love of food. In their own words they call themselves “Champion Eaters”. When I asked them to describe each other in 5 words I genuinely teared up. Lorelei said strong, intelligent, well spoken, kind, and hilarious. James said articulate, graceful, wise, hilarious, and The One. If this is not a match made in Heaven then I don’t know what is.
They rock up to the shoot at Miami Beach looking how any engaged couple should, happy, stylish and full of mischief. It is a beautiful thing to document the love between two people. I could sense that James and Lorelei were going to be so much fun to shoot and they did not disappoint. It is crystal clear from the outset that these guys are smitten and as I spend more time with them, I can’t help but be excited for they're wedding photography in December. I love their style, how they snuggle and fit perfectly, the easy loving way they both look at each other.
Being a Miami based wedding photographer I never tire of the amazing locations available for shoots. As we walked through Española Way & Southpoint Park they are natural and very comfortable in front of the camera. The light was dreamy and as we made it to the beach they had nailed all the shots. Throughout the shoot they were laughing and smiling. (Making my job a dream.) Their genuine affection comes across beautiful and effortless in every shot. If you don't believe me then check out the photos for yourself.

Jennyfer & Jose’s love story began on 2016 when they encountered each others profiles on an online dating site... yes, they did!!!. After exchanging few texts, they agreed to meet in person... literally three days after the first text. Time flew that night, they were talking & laughing for hours, the chemistry was definitely there between them. Then, the time to say goodbye came, it was there when they knew that they needed to see each other again very soon... and the rest is history, Jose proposed on their one year anniversary in a helicopter!! How romantic is that! So that leads us to today. When I arrived to the bride and her posse, they were calm and relaxed. They were sipping on something pink and bubbly. Jennyfer was getting the finishing touches to her makeup and hair and adding those all important sparkling accessories to complete her stunning bridal look. Everyone was speechless. Jose, his best man and groomsmen were just as chilled and ready for the day to begin. Looking very dapper I might add!
Their first look was filled with so much emotion that I have to admit I even felt tears welling up.
The ceremony was at the beautiful St. Raymond of Peñafort Catholic Church and as I expected full of smiles, colour and love. The procession of bridesmaids and groomsmen beamed with pride at being part of Jose and Jennyffers big day. The adorable flower girl and page boy nearly stole the show with their unbelievable cutest. But the guest all fell silent as Jennyfer made her entrance and walking toward her hubby to be.
The entire ceremony was beautiful from start to finish. And I happily captured all the smiles, the laughs and the loving looks between them. And the moment they had their first kiss as husband and wife was delicate and wonderful. The reception decor was decadent and classy and I loved photography all of the gorgeous details they had painstakingly picked out for their special day. When I left they were dancing the night away. Their first as husband and wife. Congratulations Jennyffer and Jose, thank you for asking me to be part of your amazing day.

Today’s wedding comes to you from the fabulous Secret Gardens of Miami, documenting the love of Cassidy & William as they say their I do’s in front of their closest friends and family. Cassidy and Wiliam originally met in high school, but were both dating other people. THANKFULLY they reconnected again through Instagram and have been inseparable ever since. This past August, on Cassidy’s first trip outside the US, they traveled to Germany, Northern Ireland and France. He proposed at the Giant’s Causeway, in Northern Ireland, which is amazingly beautiful and forever will be one of Cassidy’s favorite places in the world.
So I got to photograph the magical day that was their wedding. And when I say magical, I mean it. The Harry Potter details spread throughout the day were beautiful and really made the day their own from Hogwarts letter invitations to the magic potions on the table settings. Cassidy and William said their I do’s in front of their closest family and treasured friends. The outside ceremony was beautiful. The happy couple just beamed all day. The location and the lighting was just divine and we made the most of it. We got the most beautiful portraits of the happy couple. After a fun filled reception, speeches and cake cutting, they and all of their guests happily danced the night away.
Thank you, Cassidy and William, for choosing me to be a part of your special day. I wish you every happiness in your future together as husband and wife.

Pauline and Brian met at a charity event. When Pauline walked in, she immediately noticed a very, very handsome man. They were introduced and in just a few moments they were both smitten. The rest, as they say, is history!
They got engaged on a trip to Boston. Brian said he wanted to look at the boats in the harbor and she really wanted to go to see the penguins. With a stunning waterfront view and some sea lions as onlookers, Brian slipped a ring on her finger and said, "Would you rather see the penguins or be Mrs. Brian Chippendale Gale?" She did both. Such a cute story! And that brings us here to today's amazing wedding at The Addison. This exquisite venue is considered one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Florida. And I totally understand why. Settled near the gorgeous beaches of Palm Beach County this venue is unique among Boca Raton wedding venues. I just love it!
I always love to capture the wedding preparations. Lots of fun, a little nerves and a lots of laughter. Pauline is a beautiful bride and her squad of bridesmaids looked amazing in green. Brian and his crew of groomsmen looked very much the part in their crisp white shirts and waistcoats (and crazy yellow socks!) Oh, and the bride wore sneakers! How cool is that!? From their excited first look right through to the sparkler of a wedding exit, this day was one of fun, laughter and so much love. My day was filled with romantic captures and lots of sillyness on the side.
Congratulations Brian and Pauline! It was my honor to be a part of your special day and capture all of the beautiful moments as you start your journey as husband and wife.
My goal is always to give my couples a memorable experience by providing natural, fun, unique and nontraditional images that represent them as a couple. They met at Victoria's parents house. On their one year anniversary Juan planned something special. He had prepared a game for her; he spread some clues that lead to each other with beautiful messages and memories. The last one, lead to her Dad who drove to an undisclosed location, when she walked in Juan was singing a song he wrote her for her birthday. After the song he got down on one knee and proposed to a cheering group of family & friends. It was the sweetest thing. Juan and Victoria arrive to the shoot, bursting with energy and fun. It doesn’t take them long to get relaxed in front of the camera and what you see here is the results of an amazing shoot at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. We picked a few locations in the park and ended the shoot at the beach. As a self confessed clumsy person (Victoria), going out of a rowboat to get some photos could have ended in disaster. Thankfully it was the exact opposite and the photos came out amazing, with no one ending up in the water! Getting to document the love between two people, will never get old for me. It’s about telling their story, in their way, I am just there to capture every bit of it.

One of the best things about my job is that I do not encounter the same day twice. And that’s just how I like it. New people, new places and so much more in between. It definitely keeps it interesting. When it comes to shooting engagement sessions it never ceases to amaze me, how you can tell people are made for each other! Just to look at two people and think “wow, they are perfect together!” Whether it’s the way they look at each other, the subtle ways they find to always touch each other or the way the bounce off each other with wit and fun. Nichole & Lovel are all those things and more! Nichole describes him as giving, considerate, sensitive, silly, and patient. And Lovel describes her as beautiful, funny, smart, caring, intriguing. They met when a friend of Nichole’s was introducing her to a group of her friends and in walks Lovel. They hit it off straight away and knew they wanted to get to know each other more. The rest, as they say, is history! They have been together and apart for a total of 25 years! Crazy in love is how you would describe it. We did their engagement shoot at a beautiful enchanted park in Davie with so many locations to choose from. It truly is a wondrous place to explore. The light on the day made my job a dream. And just as I suspected it was so much fun. As Nichole says “He’s stuck with me!” And he couldn’t be happier about it. Nichole and Lovel, thank you for letting me capture your true love, I wish you nothing but the best for your life that lies ahead.
