Frendell flew from Canada into Fort Lauderdale for their anniversary cruise. Little did his wife Chantal know that he was going to surprise her with a surprised wedding vow renewal on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Thanks with the help of Rachel the Officiant from That Wedding Lady she pulled the whole plan together and had me capture the priceless moments. Exactly 10 years ago Frendell married his best friend & soul mate Chantal. It was one of the happiest days in his life. Just like other couples, they had their ups and downs, shared some laughs, shed some tears, and in recent years even gone through a major storm in their relationship, putting their marriage to an absolute test. But like Frendell stated, "We're still here and a stronger couple than ever before. As we celebrated our 10th year anniversary, I'm reminded of how truly blessed I am to have my wife in my life and how good God truly is. It sounds cliché, but really there's no such thing as a perfect marriage, a perfect relationship, or a perfect partner. But if you place God in the middle of your relationship, stay in faith, and choose to LOVE, then there will be perfect moments. God has not only guided, provided, and blessed our marriage and family, but He continues to fulfill his promise and see us through in whatever life throws at us." Their vow renewal marks a new chapter in their relationship and his thankful for his wife and kids. Frendell has reaffirmed his love himself to his beautiful wife. Chantal is the constant in his life and his committed to her and only her for the rest of his days. I'm thrilled and excited to see what God has in store for them! Cheers to life and many more anniversaries for Frendell & Chantal!
Bret and Ryan had their first date in Wynwood, FL back in October of 2016. They were both new to South Florida and didn't know many people at the time. Their 1st date was at the Wynwood Walls where they spent most fun day exploring the beautiful walls of Miami's art district. While a lot of first dates end soon after the check arrives, they decided to extend their time together and wander around from sight to sight because they both realized that there was a chemistry between them. They eventually found themselves at the top of the Wynwood Arcade, where they share their first kiss. You could say the writing was on the wall. So they knew that they had to return to Wynwood Walls for engagement photos to capture their love for each other and from the place where it all began. I cannot express how much I love these two! From the moment I met Bret & Ryan at our coffee date at Starbucks I knew they were special. I had the honor of capturing their love story. The chemistry between Bret and Ryan is so special. They are truly best friends! Oh! And their furry baby Alfie was part of the love story too and you will see him again at the wedding has the ring bearer!
Bright colors, towering buildings, and the buzz of The Miami Design District – that’s what we had in store for us throughout Choumate and Berthony vibrant engagement session back in July. Choumate and Berthony met in 2005, it was love at first sight according to Berthony. The beautiful bride to be Choumate shared with that Berthony proposed on December 31 one minute before midnight, and asked her to promise him that they will see a lifetime together. Choumate said, He actually proposed after having a late snack at Denny’s! Berthony is an Artist so what a perfect location to do a photo session in the heart of Miami Art District. We hit the bustling streets of Miami, FL and I am so excited that we were able to use notable Art Murals as a backdrop, along with another notable structure, such as the art murals located at the Wynwood Walls! These two were full of energy, and I love that they wore classy outfits to the session. It was the perfect complement to the colorful, electric art backgrounds we were working with throughout the shoot. Choumate and Berthony told me that they were shy and nervous and had never taken professional pictures. Yeah Right! These two love birds were rockstars during their photo session that I nickname them my GQ models. Just look at that chemistry, those colors & their expressions! These two are going to be so much fun to photograph on their wedding day in October! Can’t wait!
When Carla and Pablo reached out to me to schedule their upcoming engagement session, it was a no-brainer for where we would go. I mean, what better location than Matheson Hammock Park in Miami, FL, the perfect place for beautiful sunset pictures!
“Pablo and I met in 2006 when we were both ballkids at the Miami Open (called the Nasdaq back then). We ran into each other almost a year later and after some myspace stalking (from Pablo’s part!) we started talking and dating at age 17. It’s been over 11 years since and after many adventures together we’re so excited to be getting married in December! ,” says Carla. Isn’t that the sweetest, most perfect best thing you’ve ever heard? I just love a good love story…
I think my favorite part about this shoot was when Pablo thought I was changing my lens so he was just in the moment with Carla talking and laughing and I am clicking away capturing those candid moments without them knowing. Naturally, I had to photograph that little moment! These two love birds are getting married in a few months and I cannot wait be there for their special day. Good luck on all the planning, you guys, and thanks for letting me be a part of this journey toward your marriage!
That particular moment in which virtually every person wish to experience, that point when your fiancé gets ready to settle down and takes you to the altar. In this case, Erica and James did it! They made it together after several romantic experiences which they have had. In this case, James took the bold step in planning a surprise proposal to Erica in London.
James proposed to Erica in London at the Shakespeare theatre and there was a photographer hiding in the midst capturing those priceless moments when James asked Erica for her hand in marriage. Erica & James wanted to do their engagement pictures at Wynwood, FL because this is precisely the place where they had their 1st date; isn’t that so sweet? Where they both shared their life experiences and created a bond that attracted them to one another. And like how the old saying goes "The rest is history!"
Erica stated that she loves James because he is optimistic, kind-hearted, generous, honest, dedicated, and logical. She also explained that out of all of James’s abilities, her favorite is James ability always to see the positive in every situation “He helps me laugh and forgive when times are difficult and keeps me positive. He brings joy and balance wherever he goes.” She said.
The location which they had used happened to have a creative and delightful setting, and definitely, that was all that you'd need in the ideal background for a paramount engagement session. Erica and James were beautifully dressed; with James looking GQ in his causal outfit and Erica looking sexy and sensational.
It was a sweet experience as the camera lights went on and pictures were taken. James and Erica’s relationship would be a blissful one. We wish them the best! I can't wait for November when they say "I DO"
Kristi and Dane flew in from the Bahamas to get married in Fort Lauderdale. These lovebirds are perhaps the cutest couple to have chosen the Fort Lauderdale Woman's Club for their nuptials. The serene and beautiful venue was everything you’d want in the perfect backdrop for a memorable wedding. Yours truly was on hand to capture the moment and we’ve got some breathtakingly awesome pictures that vividly tell this wonderful love story.
The delectable Kristi was dressed in her beautiful dress from Patricia South Bridal. Her father had passed away and her 2 sons gave her away in marriage. The handsome Daniel was dressed to the nines and one could clearly see how smitten he was with his lover. He’d flown in a surprise singer in the person of Glen Washington to surprise his bride. You can only imagine the mood and atmosphere in here. It was all shades of fun as I laughed all through the entire time all thanks to the witty and funny MC. It was indeed a pleasurable experience taking these beautiful shots. These beautiful pictures don’t lie! We can only wish Kristi and Dane many more happy and love filled years ahead.
Get ready for a major dose of awesome, people! About three weeks ago, I had the distinct honor of photographing Mr. Myers-Yawnick and Mr. Bosch who tied the knot at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, FL! Needless to say (I mean… just look at the pictures), this whole shebang was absolute perfection from the early morning to late at night.
These two are so clearly in love, you guys. I wish you could have been there for the ceremony, because the tears were definitely flowing, and they were definitely real. It’s moments like this when you step back and remind yourself just how special and inspiring this kind of love is. After the formal stuff, we all headed over to Delano South Beach Hotel for the reception to celebrate and, as you can see, Steven and Timothy have impeccable taste.
SIGH. Your love is giving us all so much to aspire to, you two. Congratulations again!
One of my favorite parts of shooting a wedding is photographing all those tiny details the bride and groom clearly put a ton of thought and energy into. I mean, I am all about capturing the love and the first kiss and all those tender moments, but who can forget about the centerpieces, wedding favors, accent lighting and boutonnieres? Am I right?
Ariana and Khaleel’s wedding – held in May at Casa Ylang Ylang – was a veritable feast of such details, and I had the time of my life discovering and photographing it all!
Look at that details of the entrance, wedding table, sweet heart table and ceremony! And how incredible are those details?
Since they clearly thought of everything, I asked Ariana and Khaleel if they had any advice to offer other couples currently planning their own weddings. They said, " Don't stress, it should be fun, take it day by day, stay within your budget, and remember it's your day and not your guest. But mist important enjoy every moment.” Solid advice!
Bravo, you two, and congratulations on officially tying the knot! Enjoy your honeymoon together and the many years that follow!
