“Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends.” I always say when your comfortable, it makes for really great photographs. So what better place to feel comfortable and get crazy amazing engagement photos than to have your engagement photoshoot in your home. That's what Gaby and Michael decided to do and you are in for a treat. These guys are beyond cute and their little french bulldog, (name), almost stole the show with his adorable Christmas jumper. Gaby and Kevin met at her sister's wedding and romance blossomed from there. Gabriela says about the proposal "This year, we went for a road trip through Arizona. We made a pit stop in Scottsdale, where Michael requested we climb Camelback mountain again. When we got a nice landing, we sat to watch the sunset. He told me he wanted to spend his life with me, read me a letter he had written to my mom , and then proposed. It was so beautiful.” “She is the love of my life” says Michael. These guys were so much fun to shoot. So relaxed, so fun and so ridiculously smitten with each other. Check out the photos and see for yourself how absolutely crazy cute these guys are. As it was coming up to Christmas we went for a cozy theme shoot. Guest starring their other family member, their gorgeous dog. This soon to be Mr and Mrs are so relaxed and so in love and we really had so much fun at the shoot. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, really showing their personalities with a little silliness included and it made for amazing photos. Check out the photographs to see for yourself.
Ashley & Alexandra had been friends for years, meeting through mutual friends while working at Walt Disney World back in 2011. Alex had to return to Canada to finish her Bachelor's degree, but spent a few summers or semesters throughout that time in Orlando working for various roles at Disney World. She couldn't stay away so decided to return to Florida in 2016 to earn her MBA. They immediately began to spend all of their free time together. Friendship quickly grew into something more. After nights out with friends, they would just stay behind and talk for hours learning about each other's lives and interests and feelings about life and the world.
Christmas is their favorite time of year. Alex surprised Ashley (BACK IN JUNE 2017), with reservation plans for dine in the Queen Victoria Room at Victoria and Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort on Saturday night, Dec. 23rd. She was finishing up her MBA in the fall semester leading up to that holiday season. Their hearts actually broke in half when they learned towards the end of the semester that her request to extend her Visa to stay in the US had been denied following her graduation. She was the person she had always been looking for, and when she fell in love with her it felt like Ashley had finally found a missing piece of herself. Ashley knew she couldn't lose Alexandra because of some stupid border stipulations, and planned a surprise proposal for the night of their big holiday meal. The plans for her regular Christmas gift went out the window, and Ashley found herself shopping for a diamond ring the week before Christmas.
The meal was amazing, 10 courses of the best food they ever had in there lives surrounded by the most opulent setting they could imagine. Following the meal, they had reservations for a horse-drawn carriage ride around the grounds of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to look at even more holiday decorations. They were tucked in under blankets in the back of the horse drawn carriage and Ashley told Alexandra she had a surprise for her, took small wrapped box out of her handbag, and proposed there in the back of the "sleigh." It was so dark they had to use the light of her phone to help her see the ring.
Ashley & Alexandra waited until they had members of both our families in town (her parents live in Florida for the winter, and her sister and brother-in-law are frequent visitors to Disney World), and along with two of their best friends, went to the Orlando County Courthouse in the morning on Feb. 2, 2018 and got married.
It was a beautiful day (impromptu pics at Lake Eola, lunch at DoveCote, and the two of them happened to have Lana del Rey tickets that night!), but they never had the time to plan a traditional wedding or get the dresses and flowers they loved. They are so excited to be having a special wedding shoot to document their love at the beautiful Ringling and formally announce their marriage to loved ones and friends.

James and Lorelei met on a dating app and it turned into a lifelong love!. They bonded over many things and one of those was a love of food. In their own words they call themselves “Champion Eaters”. Lorelei loves that James is strong, intelligent, well spoken, kind, and hilarious. James adores her and says she is articulate, graceful, wise, hilarious, and The One. If this is not a match made in then I don’t know what is.
I love being based in Miami. I never tire of the amazing locations available for shoots as a photographer. At Flamingo Gardens there are acres of botanical gardens creating the picture perfect wedding setting and basically a photographers ideal location. And this is the place that Lorelei and James have chosen for their special day. When I arrive to the house, Lorelei is being well looked after by her girl squad. Lots of giggles, some bubbly and everyone can’t stop smiling. (Another reason I love my job - capturing the moments).
The final touches are added, shoes and jewels and Lorelei is off to meet her husband to be for their first look. I adore first looks, the anticipation, excitement, nerves, it’s so amazing to watch and to capture. As she walks up behind him, James cannot wait to turn around and gaze on his bride to be, but he has to wait. Once he turns they both stare into each others eyes! That is the definition of the look of love! ( Eeeeeek, it makes me excited all over again just looking through the photos.)
Lorelei and James said their vows and dedicate their lives to each other in front of family and friends. An emotion filled ceremony followed by a super-fun filled reception. A truly beautiful day from start to finish.
Congratulations James and Lorelei. May your married life be filled with all the joy and happiness. I am honored to have been part of your special day.

They met at the gym. Jillian would see him every week but never had the guts to go and talk to him. After they were introduced, Rob was smitten. He tried to play it cool by asking simple questions and the conversation ended organically. After Jill left, Rob told his co-worker that he just met his Wife. Shorty after they started hanging out they quickly fell in love. They started dating in December, were an official couple in January, got engaged in February and they got married in May. They were wed in a special ceremony on the beach. Just the two of them under God. Now they just want a wedding celebration with their amazing friends and family.
Jillian says that he looks at her as if she is the only girl in the universe and she loves how thoughtful, strong and nurturing he is.. Robert's favorite thing about Jillian is her ability to anticipate and meet my needs. He says she is beautiful, loving and strong willed. The Living Sculpture Sanctuary is the location for today's wedding it’s a hidden gem in Davie, FL. I really adore shooting weddings at this location. The gardens are such a magical setting for a wedding. To say that this is a dream location to shoot, is an understatement, see for yourself. It’s always fun to capture the wedding preparations. Lots of fun, a little nerves and a lots of laughter. Jillian is a stunning bride and her squad of bridesmaids looked amazing in purple. Kevin and his crew of groomsmen looked very much the part in their crisp white shirts and bowties.
Their first look was done under the flower arches of the garden and wow, did they look amazing. They then made their way to the ceremony where they renewed their vows to each other in front of their dear friends and family. After they cut their beautiful cake, they danced the night away with their guests.
Thank you for having me be a part of your special day. I wish you love and happiness as you continue your life together as husband and wife.

These guys were friends for 2 years before they started dating. Libia adores Kevin’s honesty, kindness, charm, good looks and cheerfulness. Kevin loves Libia because she is strong, beautfiul, lively, brave and annoying! They really are a match made in heaven. The Ancient Spanish Monastery is the location for today's wedding. The garden are such a magical setting for a wedding and the reception was held in the stunning Cloisters that surround an open courtyard to the gardens. To say that this is a dream location to shoot, is an understatement.
Their first look was filled with excitement and happy tears. And can we just take a moment to pay homage to Libia’s stunning floral headdress!! Amazing! These two are just adorable and so in love. It makes my job the best thing ever. This adorable couple honestly didn’t stop smiling the entire day. And who could blame them! Libia’s crew of bridesmaids looked stunning in pink and all of Kevin’s groomsmen were looking very dapper in their crisp white shirts and suspenders. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Libia and Kevin, say their vows in the stunning gardens of the monastery. And every inch of this location makes the most amazing backdrop for their photos. The whole day was filled with fun and lots of happy tears. I left the newly married couple to dance the night away with all their guests. After they had cut the cake of course.
I loved this wedding. Kevin and Libia I wish you all the happiness in the world as you start your life together, now as husband and wife. It was truly an honor to be part of your special day.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a. Patricia and Kevin met through a co worker, who happened to be Patricia's best’s friends sister. He is captivated by her carefree personality, as well as her sarcasm! She adores his integrity and knows he will always be a provider and protector of his family. Patricia said “ When we met and got to know each other we both knew we were blessed to find one another.” He's everything she needed and she's everything he needed. From the first look to their fun exit, this was such a beautiful day. Patricia looked exquisite and took Kevin’s breath away at their first look. The only thing I love more than a romantic first look moment is a teary groom! The outdoor space for the ceremony at the Secret Woods Nature Center looked so magical with all the little details all dressed up for Patricia and Kevin's big day! The day ran seamlessly with the lovebirds smiling the whole way through. They said their I do’s in front of their closest friends and family and started their married life with a great big party! Their day was filled with so much love, lots of laughter and a few happy tears! Congratulations Patricia and Kevin, I am honored that you chose me to be a part of you're amazing day. I wish you all the happiness in the world as you start you life together as husband and wife.
“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” Dr Seuss
When I first shot with Juan and Victoria for their engagement shoot I could tell straight away that their wedding day was going to be filled with so much love and fun. Afterall, on their one year anniversary Juan planned a game for her; he spread some clues that lead to each other with beautiful messages and memories. The last one, lead to her Dad who drove to an undisclosed location, when she walked in Juan was singing a song he wrote her. After the song he got down on one knee and proposed to a cheering group of family & friends. It was the sweetest thing.
So their special day was just as I had expected. Victoria’s mom played a big part in the the decoration ideas for her daughter's wedding which made it all even more special. And while her mom couldn’t make the wedding, she was there by facetime to see her gorgeous girl marry the man of her dreams. Every little detail was planned out to perfection. From the stunning floral invitations,
The Living Sculpture Sanctuary magical energy is the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. The living Sculpture Sanctuary is a hidden gem, a retreat from the hustle of South Florida. Built by hand, it is a stunning place with gentle water falls, bonsai and koi ponds that emerge from its lush setting in centuries old live oak trees. A photographers dream! In a super romantic move, Juan sang his bride to be down the aisle. And as the sun went down, they said their vows in front of their closest family and friends. And the photos truly speak for themselves. The loved up couple, the stunning backdrop and the love a support from their guests made it a most beautiful day to capture. The gardens at night added extra sparkle to the photographs. And the happy couple made an equally glittering exit through a tunnel of sparklers!
Thank you Victoria and Juan for having me be a part of your special day. I wish you all the love and happiness for your future together.
“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.” Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets. Erica and James promised each other Forever in front of their closest family and friends. And I was the lucky photographer that they chose to be part of their very special day. From Erica’s Star Wars shoes (yes you read that right, see the photos) to James Darth Vader cufflinks it was clear that this was going to be a fun day to photograph. James took the bold step in planning a surprise proposal to Erica in London. He proposed to her in London at the Shakespeare theatre. Erica loves James because he is optimistic, kind-hearted, generous, honest, dedicated, and logical. She also explained that out of all of James’s abilities, her favorite is James ability always to see the positive in every situation “He helps me laugh and forgive when times are difficult and keeps me positive. He brings joy and balance wherever he goes.” She said. The father of the bride had a dual role in todays wedding at the beautiful St. Agatha Catholic Church in Miami, FL. Not only did her escort his beautiful daughter down the aisle, he was the priest who married them on the day. A very emotional and proud day for him in so many ways. Erica was extremely close to her grandparents and had hoped they would see her married. But sadly they both passed away recently. Erica made sure they had a presence on the day and had with her a beautiful necklace given to her by her grandmother. Erica and James, this was a beautiful day and I thank you for asking me to be part of your special day. I wish nothing but the best for you both as you begin your life as husband and wife.
