Even though I found photography at such a young age, it took me years to come back to it as a career. I was a paralegal. A private investigator. A bail bondsman. A fashion designer. But none of them brought me half the joy that photography does. It took my journey through all those careers that didn’t fit to bring me back to my true passion. Photography was my vacation from every other job I had, bringing me back into that world I found when I was 10 years old. I wanted to show my daughter that what she loves even now at her young age is important. She is why I’m finally doing what I love.

I like bright colors, drink too much coffee, and love the beach because the ocean breeze puts my mind at ease. I listen to Missy Elliot, The Beatles, and Lauryn Hill in equal measure, taking time to dance with my dog in the kitchen. I laugh too loudly, I eat faster than I talk (no, really, I inhale my food... it's awkward), and I'm a tough-lover (ya know, the person who pushes you hard because she loves you harder?).

I'm a proud fur mom of the world's beautiful, loyal dog named Zoey. Mother to a beautiful daughter name Kimberlee and a wife to an amazing man named Walter. I am obsessed with Tacos and The Golden Girls; every night before I go to bed, I have to watch an episode.

When I started this business nine years ago, I was sure I would succeed. I had no clients, no portfolio, and no experience. But I had a fire burning and the willingness to work harder than anyone else. Because I truly believe my job entails so much more than one day of shooting. I'm the photographer that you can call to get advice while you're planning your wedding. I'm the photographer that will be there for you to fluff your dress or tie your shoes. I'm the photographer that will grab your hand and help you walk in those high heels. I'm the photographer that will cry when photographing your first look and your first dance as you become one. I'm the photographer that captures emotions and candid moments to tell your love story. Serving over more than 300 couples, I value relationships in getting to know you. So I can provide you with excellent photographs.

I was given a Kodak Point and Shoot Film camera on my 6th birthday. Let's say things got real after that cake was cut. Something about that sound the film wheel made and the satisfaction of watching the flash go off. That was it for me. I knew then how happy I was and was so thrilled I could look back at that day. Photographs are so much more than memory. It's an artifact to history. Your history. Creating a safe space for my couples to be themselves is my superpower.

I've traveled the world, capturing couples and their families for 13 years: over 400 weddings and counting. I'm just getting started. Small details are my favorite, and hanging with the girls to get the best magazine cover shot is my jam. I thrive on laughter and snacks, but what fills my heart the most is getting to know my couple's love story. I am so grateful to be part of just the first of many milestones in their lives together. Let's make history!
